To help ease the suffering of Palestinian refugees after different calamities including occupation and war, the IIS of SA has always been instrumental in coordinating Aid efforts. Airstrikes on targets in the Gaza strip have killed thousands so far, including many civilians, and wounded many more. The offensive forced almost all of the territory's population -- most of whom already required food aid -- to remain inside their homes, where they faced a shortage of cooking gas due to months of restrictions on goods entering the region. The airstrikes destroyed key Palestinian infrastructure, depriving many of water and electricity. The attacks have limited the movements of many humanitarian aid groups, but Alhamdulillah, the IIS of SA always manages to get permission from the authorities to send the much needed aid.
